April Showers bring May Weddings!

Look at all this amazing, delicious and healthy food. Alicyn's brunch bridal shower was last Saturday and I have the sweetest friends (Sandy, Lori and Rhonda) who put it all together. The food was soooo good. And everything was absolutely beautiful.

Alicyn had lots of fun opening presents and got so many great things to begin setting up her and Mike's place. Thanks to so many wonderful Worland friends.

The personal note from Grandma Croft in her Croft Family Cookbook brought tears to her eyes.

And the ooh-la-la gift from her sisters made everyone smile. She is going to be one gorgeous bride.
Finally, the festivities of the day ended and it was time to take out the "fancy" hairdo. There were almost 50 heavy duty bobby pins holding it all together.
Kaytee had to threaten to shoot her to get her to hold still! May 23rd is on its way!

The Bride to Be (less than 5 weeks!)

We had a BIG day Saturday. Alicyn came home for a whirlwind wedding preparation trip. First thing in the morning we made a visit to the hairdresser who will be doing Alicyn's hair for the wedding. When we told her Ali was going to be wearing a veil . . .

This wasn't what we had in mind:

Just kidding - she was just adding lots of VOLUME.

Alicyn had brought some pictures of bride's hairdo's she liked - she wants to wear it up but with lot of loose curls and tendrils so it shows off how long and beautiful her hair is. Here is kind of a back look (The real veil will tuck up under the curls.)

And here they are working on the tendrils. They are going to put just a few little jewels around in the front too. Alicyn looked very 'FANCY" all day as we had her bridal shower right afterwards, followed by consultations with the florist and photographer. Check back here to "Wedding Central" as I will post the shower pix tomorrow.

Hippity-Hoppity

Happy Easter to everyone! Here is Kaytee in her new Easter Outfit.

The Easter Bunny brought her some new eye shadow and her two favorite candies.

Yesterday we planted little baby plants in the silver planters for the centerpieces for Alicyn's wedding reception. They will be all colorful and full by the Big Day!
