Random Bits and Pieces

So . . . I just e-mailed some pictures of wedding things to Sherri (Mike's mom) and as long as I have both the computer (dad and Kaytee are both gone) and a recently downloaded camera - and some uninterruped time - here goes with some odd and random happenings from the last month or so.

First off is Kaytee - before the whole chipmunk surgery thingy (she won't let me near her with a camera now and actually other that a little puke yellow bruising on her lower cheeks she is almost back to normal. But these are the glasses that she wanted so bad and the sweet Emily Christensen found in Nordstroms in Arizona and sent them to us.



Next is a really cool Family Tree painting that Alicyn and Mike had made for us. It has all your names on it with extra little hearts for when you all add little ones. I tried and tried but just couldn't get a picture without the glare that makes it so you can't read the names - but you will all see it hanging in the entryway when you come out in May.


Next is the results of the fun day dad and I had learning how to make baskets (again, with the amazing Emily Christensen!). It was really, really fun and I have such appreciation for every basket I see now. We still have supplies so I am anxiously waiting for another free day so I can make more. Someday I hope to teach my darling grandchildren :)

AFTER I got home from my skin cancer removal surgery.

(I wanted to see what it looked like and since it was on the top of my head I had to have a picture taken so I could see what was grossing out Kaytee and Dad. Of course the stitches are all out now and there is just a little scar that I can feel up there - but no more cancer - YAY! The worst part was all the vaseline I had to put on it to keep it from drying out the two weeks before the stitches came out - made all of my hair so disCUSTING for the longest time!

I'm Looking Like A Chipmunk

So this is the AMAZING Kaytee here with her first time ever typing on a blog so we will see how this goes....

On Tuesday dad, mom, and I all went up to Billings for some doctor appointments, but this was no regular appointment because I was getting 7 teeth pulled! OWW!!!! I got my 4 wisdom teeth out and then I also had 3 random teeth in my gums (kind of like an extra set of teeth you could say). Let me tell you that now i feel so bad for anyone that has gotten teeth out because the after effects are horrible. I now understand your pain guys. Mom kept being like "Kaytee take a picture for the blog!" but I would not let her because I look like a chipmunk getting ready for winter. So you guys will just have to imagine and go back to your days when you got your teeth out to see what I look like.

Well thats been my newest news about me! Maybe I will blog again sometime but with cooler things to talk about and of course pictures!! (and I thought we needed to update our blog anyways)
